Have you seen these guys perform live?
I like their downloads a lot, but I wonder if it's real or Memorex ... (?)
What's their live show like?

There is an amazing band coming to the Wetlands on the 8th of October. They
are called the Station Myth, and they are finally on tour. This is from
their webby:

The Station Myth is a quartet of Daniels from New York City. They are
touring this fall in support of their self-titled debut album. It is a
brilliant first release by one of New Yorks most promising new bands that
truly embodies the DIY mantra. This band is determined to manufacture their
own success and has developed a sound that celebrates modern technology but
also preserves that somatic jolt you get from seeing a live, organic,
rock-and-roll band.

Their self-produced, debut release was recorded during a month long stay in
a Pine Mountain, Georgia cabin. The experience began with 12 songs written
sans lyrics and with no designated singer. Each Daniel picked a song they
felt compelled to write and was then appointed a song by the other three
members. The last four songs were written down on pieces of paper and picked
out of a hat. A Daniel explains that the bands approach and name suggest
that, Nothing is permanent. The idea of fixation or immutability is false.
Ultimately change is the only constant. There is a high degree of sonic
experimentation and emphasis placed on texture by the band, indicating
limitless opportunities to expand their sound and keep us writhing in
anticipation.
