Monica Lynch, current/former? prez of Tommy Boy records, had Merritt on
her FMU show this afternoon and played a medley of several
drastically-varied versions of "Zippity Doo Dah." I only heard the
beginning music of the show, but it for some of you it may be worth
checking in archives.

Slate may also have been having as slow a work day as Ross.

Note of humor to it: In the same misinterpreted EMP talk from which
Hopper based her screed, Merritt went on to use Celine Dion as an
example of a black R&B singer. He was eventually corrected by several
audience members. Now that's just funny.

Anybody know if Greg Tate has any take on this?
