I *am* a big fan of the Daily Show, and if you haven't seen an episode within the past 6-9 months, you might be surprised at the extent to which Stewart has abandoned most of his former de rigeur pretense toward "fairness" and has taken to openly & viciously mocking the republicans.

His riffs on Kerry have lately generally consisted of him showing a clip of Kerry using 57 words to say a 5-word idea, and then Stewart quietly burying his head in his hands and kind of whimpering.

Which is more or less what I do when I hear Kerry do that, but for some reason it's funnier when it's on TV.

Not trying to convince you to watch, but I do find it calming after a long day of obsessively toggling between Atrios, Kos and TPM.

p.s. what is the consensus on which bar to spend Election Night in, assuming one wants to do it in a bar & not at one party/candidate headquarters or another, or at home alone?

I'd be lying if I said I'm a big fan of The Daily

I did BitTorrent the clip and nearly blew my Cheetos
out my nose at Stewart's sheer chutzpah in bitch
slapping that bow tied fucker son of hot carl. Good
show, old chap.
