Well, given that the Lawrence Lessig worte the blog entry Rob was talking
about rather recently (Dec 7th), and that he's still somewhat optimistic
regarding the compatibility goal, that's at least something.

Of course I can understand that the FSF have a great deal of work to do with
the GPL3 discussion going on now, but nevertheless I think it cannot be too
early to start a more serious discussion on the topic of licence
compatibility! Especially if one happens to notice that this has already
become an issue for wikipedians themselves, as I noticed for example in the
german wikipedia:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meinungsbilder/Creative-Commons-Migration_Teil_1
where people are even considering a migration away from the gfdl towards a CC
licence, or at least dual licencing content.
