My point was merely that the structure of Blogs, with the collective effort
and money/time spent in its pursuit has massively expanded its base, whereas
nearly none of that appears in netart, which pretty much means its only
option is to disappear.

Netart perhaps does have a life similar to that of museums. In some past
lives, painters would show in a major museum, for free, then get picked up by
galleries, at which point they might earn some money. Museums do not
generally pay for netart, or at least not much, because of this standard
model? Creating netart is an alternative to this process, if you get paid
nothing/not much, why not try to go beyond a museum's usefulness.

In such a model, Blogs would be a highly useful type to emulate. So again I
agree with you, netart should disappear and become a subset of blogs.

Ofcourse you know better, just personal experience. O and Blogs also contain
a lot of opinions.

Don't worry, within five years or so they will simply be part of the ether.
