Hi Federico,

all things considered, if CC legal is going to the thematic seminar of LAPSI in March anyway, I would say it makes a lot of sense to focus a 4.0 meeting to around that time.

Do you think you could ask the LAPSI organisers, (1) if it would be possible for CC affiliates to join parts of the LAPSI meeting, and (2) if it would be possible to get some assistance finding a conference room for a CC meeting on the day before or after the LAPSI meeting?

Dear All,

about LAPSI events, the one on the 23rd and 24th of January 2012 (University Foundation, Bruxelles) is a Public Conference, so it will be open to anybody - no problems at all.

About the event of the 22nd and 23rd March 2012 (Budapest), it's a Thematic seminar, so - in principle - it's not open to the public. However, the topic is "Licensing of PSI: PSI-holders’ Perspectives, Re-users’ Perspectives and Redress Mechanisms", so CC is absolutely relevant; moreover, there is the third Internal conference of the network. If you think people from CC Europe may want to join, I can check with the organizers.

Thanks and best regards,

Federico

Hi,

as for LAPSI - it's the first event that came to my mind - but can
someone actually clarify that non-LAPSI members will be able to
participate in the conference? if we decide to have our, 4.0 themed
satellite event, it would still help to use the opportunity to take part
in the LAPSI event itself.

cheers,

Alek
