Hi everyone,

I've pretty much committed to LAPSI that I (or possibly Sarah) would attend the LAPSI meeting March 23-24th in Budapest.   http://www.lapsi-project.eu/meetings.  Just an fyi, but it seems a good opportunity even if it's not before we were hoping to publish the first draft of 4.0.  Definitely would be good if we could coordinate a CC Europe meeting around that same time if possible (could take place elsewhere before or after, even, but I'll leave that to all of you and Jonas to determine).

We're still early in figuring out timing and who exactly from the legal team attends each, but suffice it to say that during the first half of the year would be much better than the later half if possible given drafting objectives.  We (legal) have planned one trip to each of the Africa, Arab, Asia-Pacific and Europe regions in 2012, to discuss 4.0 hopefully in collaboration with a regional event.

Best to you all for a terrific New Year.

Diane

Hi,

as for LAPSI - it's the first event that came to my mind - but can
someone actually clarify that non-LAPSI members will be able to
participate in the conference? if we decide to have our, 4.0 themed
satellite event, it would still help to use the opportunity to take part
in the LAPSI event itself.

cheers,

Alek
