Hi all,
Thanks for the great input. I like the idea of combining food & drink with the salon -- we'll be starved by the time it rolls around. Ok, Emre and I will brainstorm, also together with the workshop hosts at Ozyegin, and try to find a suitable arrangement. One inference from the list seems to be holding the CC Europe meeting in the same venue as the salon, like in Lux? That sounds wise; we'll see what we can do. ^_^

This could be cool ... and since it's going to be just a few days after we "celebrate" 300 years of copyright (or at least 300 years that the Statute of Anne came into force, 10 april 1710) a proper "salon" would certainly be appropriatesure we could combine the salon with some food and wine or whatever would be local custom and otherwise seasonal ...(just make sure we make it for James' keynote next morning ;)/ ptOn 11 Mar 2010, at 14:09 , Michelle Thorne wrote:HI all,
I'm also in conversation Emre Bayamlioglu, Project Lead from CC Turkey, who's interested in hosting a CC salon while we're all in town. Sunday evening was recommended for that as well. Would it make sense to do the Europe meeting 6-7:30pm, and a salon afterward? Or is that too much and too late?

Dear All,
according to past experience, I confirm that it is fairly reasonable to
assume that WG meetings will end around 6 p.m. (or before, but it's
better to assume 6 p.m., imho).
Best,
Federico
