If you distribute copies of CC-NC work as part of getting paid tuition,
then would be that similar to a website that distributes copies of
a work for free but makes money with advertising?
I'd have to read the license again, but I thought CC-NC meant you
can't copy, distribute, or create derivatives for commercial gain,
which would mean you can't distribute the work for free if you're
getting tuition money using it.
I'm not a lawyer, though, so I might be misreading the whole thing.
