We can point out another exception, also from the northeast, but from the
world of liberal arts colleges. LOLA is a learning objects aggregator,
aimed at content from this sector.
http://learningobjects.wesleyan.edu/lola/test/index.htm introduces the
project,

Proposal goes into more detail, and
http://lola.wesleyan.edu/presentations/cnidec2003/final2-cni.ppt is a
presentation.

ZC: Unfortunately MIT is the exception, not the rule. I am aware of OCW, am
inspired by their gift to the commons, and wish there were more institutions
like MIT out there. Even though we may well make cc.edu available to
academia,I would hope and expect that many would choose less restrictive
licensing. I personally have only ever used by-nc-sa for my own work (where
I can), and that is not likely to change after cc.edu passes, if it passes.
