Although the reports are very similar, I don't see any that are like
mine... In my case, the entire computer freezes, and in most cases I
could find on google, only the NIC stopped working.
Also, I couldn't find a single instance where someone used a 2.4
kernel... Although that might just be because it's old.
What I can't figure out, though, is why it worked perfectly earlier...
I can't think of anything I did that caused it; I was trying (and
failing) to compile a kernel.
