Flash 9 performs illegal operatins in Win98SE.
All online kids' games seem to need flash.
The solution is to download games instead. Some of the ones claiming to be for Win95-Vista want 256MB RAM and 1GHZ cpu but there are older ones too.
But then they need DirectX. Does linux have an equivalent?
The fourth video card I tried (PCI) worked and does DirectX 6 - Virge.
The current version is 10.
This computer is leaving shortly without linux, maybe along with Browserpuppy live CD for use on the main computer. With Flash 10.
The next computer is for adults, with BL2.
