http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/SW11libs.tgz
Unpack on / and run ldconfig.
Contains all the libraries from Slackware 11, plus libstdc++ 5 and 6 (for Seamonkey 1.1 and Firefox 1.5 GTK1 versions), libgcc, and a recent libX11 used by some other X programs such as SJphone. About 2MB download.
This upgrade will also let you use sqlite3 precompiled (glibc 2.3.1) and MaPiVi precompiled (2.3.2). And Opera 8 and 9 which only need 2.2.5.
Compiled by Slackware to require kernel 2.4.
Seamonkey 1.1.17 has a few bug fixes since 1.1.16 and 1.1.15.
The contributed build still uses GTK1.
Seamonkey 2.0 (alpha 3) will be closer to Firefox and take more plugins from it. But needs GTK2. What files does this require and will SW11 work? Firefox 3 would not run for me in Slackware 11. Could someone with broadband check this out please?
2.0 will have improved javascript. Some pages that display correctly in Firefox 1.5 don't in Seamonkey 1.1.
