The link to BL2 add-ons is gone (baslinux.ru).

Where can I get BL2 icewm to install in Slackware 11 to use when chrooted there? BL3 icewm is libc5.

Firefox 1.5 works. I had installed it (then deleted the directory it unpackaged to) to /usr/bin/firefox (wrapper script) and /usr/lib/firefox-1.5.07/firefox-bin etc. ldd firefox-bin finds all the dependencies. Upgrading BL2 to glibc 2.3.6 might let us just copy them over from Slackware 11.

When I thought it was broken, I was using Firefox from the Firefox directory, which is Firefox 3.0.6. It starts loading (see 'top') but nothing happens. In SW11, ldd (from SW11 or from BL2) firefox-bin says it is not a dynamic executable (but when I run ldd from BL2 it lists dependencies). README.txt says to look online for installation instructions. (25MB of files without install instructions!).

Seamonkey and two softphones also work in SW11.
One has an Xkb error in BL2, the other needs lots of fancy X libraries
(most also used by Firefox).

Opera fonts work properly in SW11.

I look forward to a SW11-based BL or instructions how to upgrade BL2 to run Slackware 11-compatible programs. Is this in the near future?
