Can anyone please compile the Samba server located at:
http://us1.samba.org/samba/ftp/stable/samba-2.0.3.tar.gz for me (to work in
BL3) ?

I´m trying to put a Samba server to work but with out sucess.

Have you tried the Samba 2.0.3 package in
Slackware 4.0 ? It is in the n11 directory.

The Slackware packages are very reliable.
If it did not work, it probably means
something is missing. Probably something
in the standard Slackware network foundation
(some of which is missing in BL3).

Tell us precisely what error you got and
we may be able to figure out which package
you need.

I have no error messages, the BL3 machine is not "saw" by the other Windows
machines in the same network as folder sharing or other, this BL3 machine is
connected Ok, is my ftp server and navigate normally.
