To look at one 1280x1024 photo, links2 in svga mode uses 2.1% of my 512MB, dillo uses 1.3% but Xvesa another .8% (and icewm .2.)
Links2 (non-ssl, delilinux) in X uses 1.2% for Xvesa and .6% for linkss.
There are ssl and non-ssl versions for BL3.
I don't see a way to close a link (tab) in dillo. To display the same photo is now using 2.3% of memory for Xvesa plus 1.6% for dillo 0.8.0.
I don't see any way to zoom in or out (links2 lets you scale images).. Can't use arrow keys to navigate. Will Dillo let you browse without images and if so does it download them anyway like Opera does?
Maybe it is faster, but it uses more memory and probably more space.
