The reason for this may be that your drive is full
and there is no room to run the programs.

It appears that your drive is full. Please
execute the following from the command line: df

> "Memory leak by 50335745 bytes - No space left on device"

Bad things happen when you overflow your drive.

Memory is irrelevant. What matters is how much
space is on the filesystem. df will tell you.

Oh... you are running from loop. I see.
The size of the loop is 20mb. That is sufficient
to install one (1) medium-sized add-on or three
small add-ons. It is not sufficent to install
Opera (or other big add-on).

If you wish to install many add-ons, you need
to put BL3 on an HD partition (fdisk, mke2fs).

AbiWord will fit on the loop if it is the only
add-on. It will not fit if you have already
installed other add-ons.

Why do you want icewm? For most purposes jwm
(the wm in BL3) is just as good as icewm.

The BL3 add-on packages do not require upgraded
libraries. Slackware 4.0 packages do not require
upgraded libraries (although some Slackware 4.0
packages may be dependent on additional packages
or libraries).
