Czerno typing : hi, List !

I'm going to define the keyboard table for my 102 k French keyboard,

What happened to the xmodmap approach?

'How to setup international keybaord in X Windows with Xmodmap'
http://www.linuxdocs.org/HOWTOs/mini/Intkeyb-4.html
There is a French keyboard there but with more than 102 keys. Can you modify that keymap?

end it seems
I need the programme 'xev'.
Would someone kindly provide the binary xev ? I haven't got a system
on which to do compiles :=(

At any of the Slackware mirror sites listed at the BL site, go to Slackware 4.0, slakware, download MANIFEST.gz, zless MANIFEST.gz, search on xev, which is in ./x1/xbin.tgz.

P.S. I am typing in *Lynx*, and this field for data entry got way too

many lines. I know how to erase lines w/ Ctrl-U, but is there a way
for /removing/ a line altogether rather than just deleting the
contents ?
Apologies should there remain a lot of empty lines below, between the

signature and the unavoidable plug from Yahoo!

No empty lines here. The Yahoo plug is short.
