heylo good people. i am newbie venturing out from ms do$windoze. my voyage of
discovery starts with BL3, but not so fast newbie! lol.. because; i dloaded
the floppy vesion a couple weeks ago (before the server crash..) and have
only just got round to making the giant leap forward.. but i had a problem
with the first disk >> from a win98 dos session in the directory containing
the files i commandeth as instructed but yon error message cometh "file too
big for floppy" or wordage to that effect.. when i check back in windows
explorer looking at properties for both the file Disk1.img and the 1.44MB
floppy it sayeth the former is 1.40MB = 1474560 bytes and the latter is
1.38MB = 1457664 bytes.. so im stuck quite clearly! another question; the
home page states BasicLinux is now up to version 3.50 but below it shows the
loop version as 3.50 and the floppy version as 3.40 so is the floppy 3.50
just about to arrive c/w a slightly slimmer Disk1.img file? cordialement -
