That doesn't work at _all_ on the e2fs filesystem created by my debian
OS (mke2fs). I get this every time I boot BL3:
e2fsck 1.10, 24-Apr-97 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
e2fsck: Filesystem has unsupported feature(s) while trying to open /dev/hda17
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
/quote
e2fsck -b 8193 <device> doesn't work either. I get the same message.
'stat -f /dev/hda12' (3.0 compiled on BL3 with egcs) reports
this for BL3's partition:
File: "/dev/hda12"
ID: 0 0 Namelen: 255 Type: ext2/ext3
Blocks: Total: 480289 Free: 452073 Available: 427675 Size: 4096
Inodes: Total: 244320 Free: 238428
/quote
I used debian to create the filesystem for uClibc too, and the BL3 doesn't
work
on it, either.
So I run e2fsck once a week on both of those partitions from debian.
Less than ideal, but it works for the moment.
