For a sharp guy, there seem to be a few surprising gaps in your knowledge
of
DOS, be it MS-DOS, PC-DOS, FreeDOS or any of the many other "DOS sets.

You had better let Greg know how big that is going to be -
he is running the loop version of BL3 with limited resources, and DOS is
not going to handle a file name like that.
