Hello

Sometime ago (1999 )I downloaded a simple Linux
distribution called LoopLinux, in the download section
there is a good tutorial on using Linux, it is
extremely clear. It is a single separate text file,
you donot need to download the whole distribution to
read it.
It makes a comparison between dos commands versus
Linux commands.

linuxgazette (TAG - The Answer Gang) also has useful documentation.
I just asked them for help print with lpr as root.

Two online doc to pdf convertors produced defective PDF or a lot of ASCII that did not display as pdf. One worked with links (pdfonline?), the other needed javascript. One emailed the results, the other posted at their website. Both useless. Fancy formatting - tables with assorted comments in little ovals off to the right, changes to be made in red and green, etc. WORD properly converted itself to pdf.
