Sindi,
Your BL2 rosegarden runs on my installation based on BL2. :)
It doesn't "play" MIDIs to my SB16, but I can use timidity as a slave player.

The only way I played midis was to use the Sequencer, record a midi, and then play it back. How does one set up a slave? The default is xplaymidi (which plays with AWE, which may be the default) and I keep trying to change it to playmidi -e, but that reverts back to the default (after not playing at all).

I am still playing with it and haven't yet done much sequencing, but it does import existing MIDIs and display part of the score. I haven't yet been able to see more than two staves, and this will be important because I write at least 9 tracks in my MIDIs. I will play some more.

Do you have the fonts it wants? I get a message on loading that there are no fonts.

Regards,
Ron
