- Subject: [BL] USB modules

Hi list,
I have been trying to connect an USB memory stick to my
BL2 (Slackware 7.1) system and found David's package
usb-2.2.16-BL3 containing modules and patches.
1. Is it necessary to patch the kernel _and_ load the modules
or are the modules an alternative way to get usb port running?
2. Which modules need to be loaded for a generic memory stick and
which parameters are expected?
3. Will there be any problem with applying the patches to a
BL2 system?
Christof
