Did you install packages from Slackware 4.0 or from 7.1 ?
The 4.0 packages are for BL3. The 7.1 packages are for BL2.
There are *not* compatible.
If you install Slackware 7.1 packages on BL3, it will make
a mess. Two possible solutions:
(1) re-install BL3 -or-
(2) install Slackware 7.1 (or later) libs on BL3
Cheers,
StevenMy question may seem a bit silly, anyway, bl3 is supposed to have the same kernel with Slackware 7.1 amd just wondering why it works with slackware 4.0 modules -especially when u say that Bl2 works with slack 7.0? does it have anything to do with the libs? is it because it was intended to be more "low-resource" pc friendly?
