Yes, I have a 386-SX IBM ThinkPad with BL1, as it so happens. Works
well, except that the video drivers don't work quite right with X - so
you have to startx, then exit, then startx again, and everything works
fine. 12MB RAM, thanks to my good luck in seeing a PCMCIA RAM card on
eBay a year ago.
