The video does have 1MB of RAM. So, I tried the appropriate settings as you
suggested, with much optomism. However, both the 640x480x24 and the
800x600x16 did not have the desired outcome. Upon startx the screen displaye
multi colored horizontal bars. The final result was return to terminal
screen with the following:
Int 10h (0x4F09) failed: 0x0100 (function call failed)
I should also note that the screen is color and when using the standard vga
settings, I do have color. The disapointing things is that while using the
browsing feature the images are not present. I am only able to view text.
