I decided to repartition my laptop's hard drive in
hopes of just installing BL3 and using loadlin to boot
it.

My partitions are;
/dev/hda1 (dos)
/dev/hda2 (linux type-82)
/dev/hda3 (linux type-83-swap)

Boot is toggled to /dev/hda1 (where Dos 6 is
installed)

However, I ran mke2fs /dev/hda2 and mkswap /dev/hda3
(setting the hda3 partition to type 83-linux swap)
then I executed swapon /dev/hda3, however when I type
mount /hd /hda2 or /hd /dev/hda2 I get the message
"mounting /hd on /dev/hda2 failed: Block device
required.

What did I do wrong?

Pax,

Christopher
