I don't think that this is the problem.
My CPU is a Intel 386dx 25MHz; My FPU is a Intel 387dx 16MHz - 33MHz.
It seems like a perfect match to me. Also, the coprocessor runs the
diagnostic tests that come packaged with it from intel and passes them all
90 consecutive times implying that the copro is installed correctly. The
bios correctly recognizes that the coprocessor is installed as well.
So what else could it be?
Would it possibly be necessary to recompile the kernel to not use math
emulation? Or is this totally off base for a solution.
