Hey everyone:
Okay, to update my issues with getting BL2 to install to my hard drive:
1) The setup script has now magically decided to run and appears to work just fine.
2) My CD-ROM drive is now recognized which means I'm free to read libraries, etc. off of the CD.
Thanks to Steven for his diligent work in helping to debug my problems.
I still have an issue though . . . Unlike BL3 which was happy to boot-up after the install process on a machine with no OS, BL2 seems to need DOS installed in order to become the primary operating system. The problem here is that there is no OS currently installed on this box and I don't have any DOS installation disks. How do I proceed?
Can DOS installation disks be downloaded from somewhere? Can I make BL3 the computer's OS and then switch the boot loader over to BL2? Is there a procedure for an install that doesn't involve having an OS already installed?
At least this question should have a more straight-forward answer than the last issue! :-)
Andy
