That's good news. You are past the hardest part.

You have (at least) three ways to do it:

(1) cheap & nasty
On one computer execute 'receive'. Then on the other
execute 'send'. You will be asked for the hostname of the
destination computer. If ping works with a hostname, use
that. Otherwise, use the IP number.

(2) HTTP
Run a HTTP server on one computer and run the links browser
on the other. A simple HTTP server (thttpd) is available
at the BL2 download site. On one computer execute thttpd
from the top directory of the tree you wish to serve. On
the other computer, execute 'd', press 'g' and then IP address
(or hostname) like this: http://192.168.1.2
That should enable you to browse the other computer. Use 'd'
to copy files (one-way only).

(3) NFS
This is the most complicated of the three to set up, but it
is probably the best. It provides full access between the
two filesystems for reading, writing and execution. You will
need to install /slakware/n6/tcpip1; however, that will over-
write some of your existing network files and perhaps mess up
your existing configuration. You might need to reconfigure
to get your network (ping) working again. I suggest you try
the other two methods first (which are much less likely to
cause problems).

Cheers,
Steven
