Jim, the install instructions say what to do, as I recall.
It's just a DOS command to load BL.
Put boot.bat where you want it on your DOS drive.

I'll paste mine here:
REM loadlin zimage kbd-reset root=/dev/ram rw initrd=baslinux.gz
REM loadlin bzimage vga=ask kbd-reset root=/dev/ram rw initrd=baslinux.gz
loadlin bzimage vga=ask root=/dev/hdb3 ro
