Hi,
Finally, I installed the X11 stuff (x-term?), and able to run startx
command.
However, I only see a big blue background color on the desktop without any
icon and something like status bar on the bottom edge of the screen with
ONLY one black square icon to show CPU usage.
I can click on mouse button to get a pop up window with two choices: 1)
logoff, 2) window list. After I select the window list, a "empty" window.
Am my x-term function normal? (Sorry I am really new to linux, and don't
know what should it behave even I install something.) If it is correct
behaviors, how can I get the icon (file manager?) in the desktop? Do I need
to install something too?
Thank
KC
