That sounds like maybe a good place to start, since I do have the BL1
compiler installed. I'm pretty new at compiling source: how does one
"make a completely static binary"? Some extra options/arguments must be
required during the process, right? Like . . . ?

Yes, I thought that it would probably be best if you, the main developer,
would announce it. That's what I was requesting in my note - guess I
didn't make it clear enough.
