It's in the cxxlibs.tgz package. However, the package
from Slackware 7.1 is libc6.1. One way around this
(if you have installed the cxxlibs package from Slack71)
is to create a libc6.2 symbolic link that points to
the libc6.1 file. I have done this for a couple of
applications without problem. Another way around
the dependency is to install the cxxlibs.tgz package
(libc6.2) from Slackware 8.1 (using pkgtool). I have
also done that without problem.
Unfortunately a number of current X applications are
dependent on the libc6.2 version. Installing cxxlibs.tgz
from Slack81 (in the /slackware/a directory) instead of
from Slack71 (in the /slakware/a3 directory) is probably
a sensible thing to do.
