I notice that /usr/bin/eznet in BL2 is smaller than it is in BL1. This,
together with the fact that BL2 is built on the 2.2.16 kernel which I am
now using in order to have an imm.o module, suggests to me that I could
get eznet working again by swapping the eznet binaries.
However, since I created my eznet problem when I solved my zip drive
problem, I'd appreciate advance warning as to any possible problems that
could result from replacing the BL1 eznet binary with the one from BL2.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Thanks for your offer to compile again with ssl.
Links 0.93 at my translation company site eventually exited with a
segmentation fault. Links 2.1.9 did not do this, it just refused to go to
any of the links on the first page, but I could back out of it. So it is
certainly an improvement. But it is a lot bigger (7.2M).
Would links 2.1.9 be much smaller if you compiled it so it would work only
in text mode (no X)? What do you need the X mode for? Have you tried
using it with plugins? =20
