Dear Zack:

I don’t know where you get the idea of CLH צלה being related to prayer. In
Biblical Hebrew, CLH צלה referred to roasting food over a fire, e.g. Exodus
12:8–9, Isaiah 44:16, 19. This had nothing to do with prayer.

CLA צלא is not a Biblical Hebrew word.
