  With respect to the questions asked by David Sevilla: If I'm not
mistaken, you are referring to the seal itself, which must be incised left
to right in a mirror image of the way it will appear on the bulla (and read
right to left).

that makes all the sense, silly of me I had forgotten what a seal is made for,
but now I think the other seals in the list you gave are written from right to
left, that makes the impressions from left to right no?

David Sevilla responded to my prior note, writing in part: "... I think

However, I believe that the "seals" on the list that are written from
right to left are actually bullae or jar handles that show the readable
stamped impressions from the left-to-right incised seals.
