For someone who has a basic understanding of Hebrew, what would be a good
work to take him to the next level? I would appreciate your help.
Cordially, Mark Trzasko

Mark:
What I did was to get an analytical lexicon, a regular dictionary, then just
start reading at Genesis through Exodus through to the end of the book. Then
go back to Genesis. But then the only reason I learned Hebrew was to read
Tanakh, and that is what I have done.
For what I did, learning Hebrew was a means to an end, not the end itself.
If your reason for further study of Hebrew is for linguistic analysis, then
I am not the person to ask. However, I have noticed that there are people
who go off studying Mishnaic Hebrew, modern Israeli, Arabic, Aramaic, etc.
and never really master Biblical Hebrew.
