If by "in the time of the biblical Hebrew language" you mean the Iron Age,
from what I've read a shekel in Israel was about 11-15 grams. 10 grams is
about 0.35 ounces. But in the reality of the ancient world, units like that
changed from place to place and from time to time. So a Judahite shekel in
1000 BCE may not be exactly the same as a Tyrian shekel in 700.
Maqom simply means "place". What other qualities that place has depends on
context.

What was the weight of the shekel in the time of the biblical hebrew
language? 1/2 ounce?
Did the shekel weight of gold differ from the shekel weight of silver or
weight of other products at that time?
The noun מקום . Does it mean "standing place?" And in the context of this
verse, does it mean the real estate or land (aka acreage) surrounding the
threshing floor, or continue to mean just the threshing floor itself?
