Yitzhak:

I disagree that Jim Stinehart treats this list and the people on it
respectfully.

According to the posting be John M. Linebarger this April 15, Jim is
bullying this list. The ways he uses to bully is his condescending
attitude where he insists that his readings are the only ones that
count in controversial subjects. He shows this through his emphatics
(n-e-v-e-r, n-o-t), the choices of words he uses for his emphatics,
his use of adverbs and adjectives (“…excellent article by…” Is it not
our decision to make whether or not it is “excellent”?), his
mischaracterization of what others write, the fact that he continues
to make long posts while refusing repeated requests that he get his
own blog to make a systematic posting of his theories, and a
generalized pattern that indicates that he does not know Biblical
Hebrew, yet tries to convince us that the language supports his
theories.

While he has not overtly been disrespectful of any individual by name,
this pattern of verbal bullying is disrespectful of the list and every
member on it. True, as of late, he has toned down his bullying to
where it is merely annoying, and is now referencing what others say
about the language to make up for his deficiency, but he still
disrespects this list and the people on it.
