Joanh, yes.
Ruth is simple, but has some non-standard forms,
also Esther is simple, but has some non-standard, i.e. non-classical syntagms.
So both should not be first choice for the beginner.
First take Jonah, and than Judges - whatever you like in the book, but NOT chapter 5!!
