Dear Jason,

I wish I had my books on the LXX and those on the Use of the OT in the NT, but
they are in storage at the present until I can figure out how to put them up
in
a 2 bedroom apartment.

To answer your question from what I remember from my studies is that the
quotes
found in Hebrew match almost perfectly.

1:5a = Ps 2:7
1:5b = II Sam 7:14
1:6 = Deut 32:43
1:7 = Ps 104:4 (PUR FLEGON vs PUROS FLOGA in Hebrews)
1:8 = ps 45:6-7 LXX has after AIWNIOS, RhABDOS THS... H...

The above are just some samples, but appear to be pretty right on target. Some
differences may be due to the version being used whether it was Theodotion or
Symmachus or ?. There does not appear to be an attempt in the copying of the
text to match the LXX to the NT.
