Maybe Genesis 18:7 is a continuation of the story in Genesis 17:25, so
Abraham gave something to the youth (Ishmael), and not to the servant. If it
was about Ishmael, maybe "the" makes more sense in front of the word "youth"
because he was mentioned before.

Maybe Genesis 14:10 says that the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah escaped and
fell into the slime pits. Maybe Genesis 14:13 says "and the escaped one (the
king of Sodom) came to Abraham..." Maybe only one of those two kings escaped
from the slime pit. Genesis 14:17 mentions only the king of Sodom of the
kings who fought in the war, so maybe he was the one that escaped and came to
Abraham. Since Lot lived in Sodom, the king of Sodom would know Lot and
Abraham.

In 2 Sam 15:13, "the speaker" could be one of the spies Absalom sent out to
announce that he was now king.

The youth in Numb 11:27 could be the son of Moses' father in law, if the
story is a continuation of Numb 10:29 where this person is mentioned.
