The prediction as seen from the context of the passage was for the cutting
of Torah on the tablets of hearts/minds not merely on tablets or parchment or
vellum. The terms and conditions would remain the same (renewed as a contract
renewal) but the agency would be "new." Moreover, the administration would
revert back to the original priesthood of Adonai Zedek from the
Aharonic/Levitical priesthood as seen in the Sefer Tehillim where we're told
Mashiakh will be Kohen haGadol forever after the order of Adonai Zedek. There
are no other differences but the aforementioned two.

David F. ----------------------------
Gal. 27-29: For as many as have had a tevilah into Moshiach have clothed
yourselves with Moshiach. There is not Yehudi nor Yevani (Greek), there is
not eved (servant) nor ben chorin (freedman), there is not zachar (male) nor
nekevah (female), for you are all echad in Moshiach Yehoshua/Yeshua. And, if
you belong to Moshiach (YESHAYAH 53:10), then you are of the ZERAH of Avraham
Avinu, you are yoreshim (heirs) according to the havtachah (promise).

Not hoping for - Isaiah was Predicting it, he was a Prophet, after all.

Shoshanna

The whole point of the passage in Isaiah 56 is to look forward to the time
when God's house would be called the house of prayer of all peoples. At the
time when the text was written the temple had been destroyed by Babylon and
newly rebuilt. The writer of Isaiah 56 is hoping for a more benign world
than the world which existed then, and exists today.

Best regards,
Liz
