Does it mean mistress?HH: The root may be Hebrew, but it is also Phoenician, Assyrian, Arabic, and Minaean, according to BDB, as well as Ugaritic, Syrian, Aramaic, and Akkadian according to HAL. This makes me think the name goes back to Egypt itself.
