Whether it is the godess Asherah , with a capital A in English, or a
'holy pole' or the like because of the pronominal suffix 'He', is
controversial . I don't think there is a doubt that the final consonant here
is the posessive.

Final he representing long O is found in
Arjud 14 )$RTH (this is of course, controversial)....
