Text:
MiPPe$a` `aMMiY NeGa` LaMoW
because of the transgression of my people a stroke to them/him

L:MoW (LaMoW in pause) can be singular or plural. In poetry L:MoW can stand
for LoW or for LaHeM.

If plural, we may say "my people whose was the blow". If singular, then
"because of the rebellion of my people the blow came to him" (the Servant).
The idea is that the individual Servant took the punishment which was due to
the people collectively, for their rebellion.

The LXX has APO TWN ANOMIWN TOU LAOU MOU HCQH EIS QANATON.
This may be a witness to a variant Hebrew Vorlage, as suggested in the
apparatus criticus in the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensis ad loc.
Kittel suggests emending LaMoW to L:MaWeT (unto death). But now we are
in speculative country.

The Revised Version Margin has your option #2;
the Revised Version Text has your version #1.

I cannot see NiG:ZaR in my BH.

Shalom
Ben
