Such treatment goes against "Forty days and forty nights", an often
encountered phrase in Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy and 1 Kings. This
always means "Forty Periods of 24 Hours"; never 20 days plus 20 nights
(20 of each = 40 in all).
