Their separate identity as Rehabites continued into the time of Jeremiah.

The Rechabites in Jeremiah are spelled resh-kaf-bet-yod, and so are not related to Rahab of Jericho who was resh-het-bet, nor to Rahab the mythical sea monster, resh-he-bet.
